Here are some (partially BS'd) profiles for them:

Sky the Blue Jay, age 15, is the self-titled unofficial leader of the group (which, at this point, remains unnamed). As an explorer, she always seems to find adventure—and danger—around every corner. Unfortunately, no matter how she proves her worth as a leader, Rough does not consider her as his superior, due to her young age and occasional immaturity. For unknown reasons, she has a fear of all dogs, down to the tiniest Chihuahua.

17-year-old Fright the Parrot is the adopted brother of Sky and, while still her right-hand man, is technically banned from ever having a leadership position due to his sadistic tendencies. As the “mad scientist” of the group, he comes up with ideas for inventions, although many of them, because of their destructive purposes, are never approved by Rough or ended up as disasters when they were. He dislikes being touched, especially not by Dawn, on whom he has a crush.

Monochrome the Bat, age 19, is Rough’s (ex-) girlfriend and a close friend of Sky and Fright. Though she is cynical at times, she is alert when it comes to the feelings of others, and patiently listens to them as they unveil their problems to her; as a result, she is considered a “less emotional mother hen” among the girls. She works part-time as a delivery person, and thus is useful in some missions.

Rough the Echidna, age 22, is the ex-boyfriend of Monochrome, and is the one in charge of supervising and constructing the team’s biggest inventions. With a hair-trigger temper and a tendency to be narrow-minded when it comes to his duties, he is usually left alone, except when someone or something bothers him. However, he cares a lot about his friends, and also wishes that he and Monochrome were a couple again.

16-year-old Jetstream the Eel is the team’s underwater explorer and the prime source of humor and optimism. Always full of energy, he never likes to stand still and usually heads for the nearest lake, river, or pool, much to his friends’ dismay. He argues the most with Fright, and has a crush on Sky. He prefers his food high in sodium chloride, and so piles tons of salt in his meals, despite what it may be.

15-year-old Dawn the Albino Donkey is a Southern belle who transferred to the same school as Sky and Fright. Unlike the females in her group, she is very girly, and sometimes her interests tend to clash with those of the others; it’s because of this that she is sometimes relieved to have befriended Mini. Unfortunately, her naivete has caused her to become a sort of damsel in distress in many situations. She is afraid of snakes, and used to get nervous around Jetstream and Current as a result of their snake-like appearances.

Mini the Seahorse, at age 14, is the youngest member of the group, and, like Dawn, is also a transfer student. However, unfamiliar with the “world above the water”, she is curious about everything she sees, and her scant wardrobe (which roots from her underwater home place, where the people do not normally wear much clothing) has brought many stares from the foreign people around her. Although she is a close friend with Dawn, she also likes exploring with Sky. She tends to eat a lot, to the surprise of many.

Current the Electric Eel, age 17, is Jetstream’s (non-biological) cousin and the team’s computer geek/hacker. He is rather negative and is practically lazy, which is just as much a burden as his cousin’s boundless energy. But he isn’t necessarily cruel, unlike his sometimes-partner, Fright, for he occasionally shows feelings of caring to his peers—especially the girls, with whom he often flirts. He loves all sorts of candy and junk food, but hates it when people bug him about it.

* Fright is inspired by Scarecrow, and Current by Unagi (though my [phanonized] version of Unagi is more awkward around girls).

* Yes, I did make some edits with Dawn to make her more "donkey-like", like turning the default nose into two nostrils and recoloring the furry tip to match the hair completely.
